Welcome to the WorkBlog for The Last Assassin.
This is a year+ long labor of love, pain and procrastination.
The Last Assassin started out as a screenplay, but as I was writing it, I realized that the story was potentially a lot larger than one two-hour film would contain. This, coupled with the fact that by living in Atlanta, it will be next to imposible for me to successfully pitch and sell the script, I decided to re-work the idea into a series of webcomics spanning three or four arcs.
Hopefully, these three or four arcs will eventually make it to the silver screen as a trilogy of successful blockbusters. Time will tell.
Anyway, this site will chronicle the development of the webcomic including the following:
1 - Script Development
2 - Search for an Artist
3 - Development Sketches
4 - Draft Pages
5 - Link to the Final Product
6 - Diary of Print Production (Hopefully) and Film Prospects (Really Hopefully)
Well, that's it for now. See you next week!
